ACC Provider Help for Injury Rehabilitation & Recovery Support

How we can support your recovery through ACC provider help

We provide personalised, funded ACC injury rehabilitation and recovery support, helping you regain strength, independence, and confidence in your own home.

Our carers provide practical and tailored ACC help to meet your recovery needs. This may include assistance with personal care, mobility, exercise support, meal preparation, transport to medical or physiotherapy appointments, and companionship.

Our support network also offer specialised rehabilitation services, working alongside your physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or other health providers to support your recovery plan. Whether you’re recovering from a fall, accident, surgery, or another injury, we’ll provide the care and encouragement you need with comprehensive ACC support.

Who can access ACC-funded support?

Financial ACC assistance is made available to anyone in New Zealand who has suffered an injury as a result of an accident. It is a no-fault scheme, and covers everyone who is on NZ soil including visitors to the country, no matter employment status and whether the injury was sustained at work, at home, on the sports field, or anywhere else.

As a provider of ACC-funded support services, Geneva Health can help you to navigate the process of determining eligibility. We work closely with ACC to ensure that Kiwis are able to access the care they need to recover.

In addition to physical injuries, ACC funding can be used to seek support for a mental injury caused by an accident such as PTSD. Through the sensitive claims service, the agency will cover therapy and other support for victims of sexual abuse.

If you need help to recover from an accidental injury, Geneva Health can help you to access ACC-funded care. Get in touch today.

Accessing ACC support through Geneva

To begin your injury support journey, first contact the Geneva Health team! You can call us on 0800 GENEVA, email [email protected], or fill out a form on our contact page to have someone get in touch. As an ACC provider, we can help from the first point of contact to get you the services you need after being injured in New Zealand.

An ACC claim requires information such as your full name, date of birth, address, and NHI number (if applicable). You will also need to specify details about the accident, such as the date, ti, and location it occurred and a description of the resulting injury. For a speedy claims process and ACC assistance, it’s best to have all of this information at hand when speaking to the Geneva team or case manager.

With eligibility confirmed, we will work with you and your case manager to find support that ACC will fund. A personalised recovery treatment plan for each client means that they get the help they need for their specific injury and context.

Not sure whether you qualify for ACC funding? In addition to helping with the claims process, Geneva can offer privately funded services to get you on the path to recovery as soon as possible. Contact the team today to discuss your options!
