We can help you find the right type of job that matches your personal lifestyle, goals, and interests.

Everyone is unique and looking for something different, which is why you will work closely with your Geneva Employment Specialist. They can guide you through the entire process and support you in finding:

  • Casual or contract work
  • Job trials and training

Fully-funded* support

Our service is fully-funded* by Work & Income and is completely free to you for at least 12 months. *Talk with our team about eligibility criteria.

Accessibility

Every disability or health condition is different, that’s why you’ll receive support that meets your needs and preferences. We can even provide Deaf support services, NZSL interpreters, and mental health support.

We’ll support you every step of the way.

  1. Career planning – We’ll work with you to create a personalised career plan and CV.
  2. Job search & interviews – We’ll help you apply for jobs, meet employers, and prepare for interviews.
  3. Starting your new role – Once you start a job, we’ll help you settle in and ensure your needs are met.
  4. Maintaining employment – You’ll continue to receive regular checkins and support for at least 12 months.

Employment Services for Businesses

Employing people with disabilities or health conditions is a great way to help create equal opportunities for everyone in our communities and a more diverse workplace.

Our Employment Specialists will answer any questions about disability or health and safety, explore wage subsidies or payment for any specialised equipment. We have NZ Sign Language Interpreters on staff should you need it and offer disability awareness training for staff.

Our candidates have a range of disabilities or health conditions including physical, sensory, intellectual and mental health.

But more importantly, they also have a wide range of talents. From lawyers to computer technicians, machine operators to shop assistants, our people are enthusiastic, hard-working and resourceful.

Kick start your employment journey with the support you need to find a job.

Develop the skills and confidence you need to achieve your employment goals with Geneva Healthcare’s Mahi Up 12-week pre-employment training and job placement programme. This programme is available in the Auckland
region only.
