Join our small team of friendly kaiāwhina to support our neurodiverse, 13-year-old male client with health needs. He has nocturnal epilepsy, ADHD and a mild intellectual disability. This means he has seizures when he’s asleep. What he needs is, compassionate people to look after him overnight and during the day to help him feel safe when he is feeling distressed. Experience in this area will be advantageous, but training will be given.
Salary: $23.38 to $29.10 per hour (based on qualifications)
We have a number of shifts available:
Monday to Friday – 7.00am to 9.00 (before school cares)
Monday to Friday – 3.00pm to 5.00pm (after school cares)
Saturday and Sunday – 10.00am to 2.00pm
Wednesday evening (for Karate class) – 6.00pm to 8.00pm
Monday to Sunday, 9.00pm to 6.00am – Wake overs
