Support Worker – Lower Hutt – Childcare

Childcare position

Geneva Healthcare is a national provider of quality healthcare. We are looking for a Support Worker who is physical fit, strong, positive, caring, and reliable. Someone who has a passion for providing support, guidance, and encouragement to look after our clients. Must be open minded, bubbly, caring and have compassion for those that are unable to care or help for themselves?

This position involves caring for young children, VCA checks are required.

Your duties will include (but not limited to): looking after an 11-year-old boy with autism. Getting him ready for school and dropping off to school in a taxi. Cares required is making breakfast and lunch, showering, doing activities e.g. walking, baking, playing games.

Day and times required:

• Thursday and Friday 7.00am to 9.00am
• Saturday 9.30am to 2.30pm
• Plus go into our general pool for more hours.

Must have:

• Full driver’s licence
• own reliable car
• NZ citizen or permanent resident of NZ, or work visa with expiration date past March 2026.
