Support Worker – Auckland CBD

We are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker to work with our client based in Unsworth Heights. Our client has Rasmussens encephalitis, seizures and needs behavioural management. Due to the complexity of the cares, commitment to the shifts is vital.

This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.

Requirements:

  • MUST have or (complete via our training) First Aid & Medic Competency
  • Competency in emergency management.
  • Assisting clients with personal cares and oral feeding.
  • Constant monitoring.
  • Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence.
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ.
  • Subject to clean police clearance check.
  • Able to commit to the shifts.

Tasks:

  • Bathing, feeding & developmental therapies, medication.
  • Mobility, personal care, and home help.

Shifts:

  • Tuesdays 12pm-2pm at Kindi and Saturday 10am-4pm at pools or beach (open and able to swim) – must be able to work these shifts

*with an opportunity to pick up more shifts.
