Geneva Healthcare (part of NZ Health Group) provides a range of personalised programs so people can manage their health and well-being after an injury or illness or living with a disability. Our experienced interdisciplinary team use a person-centred, strength-based, solution- focused approach to suit specific needs.

Our Work Solutions team provide a comprehensive range of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) designed to prevent workplace injuries and help individuals recover from an injury or illness successfully, and safely return to work or become work ready. We are a lead provider for the ACC VRS service and have established work flows in vocational rehabilitation to third party and private insurers as well as being preferred providers for a number of large NZ employers.

About the Role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

Our Vocational Consultants work autonomously and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, within a best practice, person and family/whanau centred approach to assessment and rehabilitation.

You will have a real passion and dedication to all aspects of service delivery and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with your clients and their families. You will work with a wide range of people with injuries or disabilities, providing assessment and vocational rehabilitation programmes within their home, work or community settings.

This is position is open to contractor or for a permanent role. Based in Auckland.

What You Will Bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following requirements:

  • Full, Professional or Fellow Membership with CDANZ or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification (Level 6 or above) with a focus on either Career Development or Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Previous experience delivering ACC contracts and services specifically Back to Work and IOA is desirable
  • Established employer network in the Auckland region is desirable
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • An understanding and appreciation of Tikanga Maori
  • Clean Full NZ Drivers Licence with access to a reliable vehicle
  • Proficient computer and IT knowledge
