Important update from the New Zealand Nursing Council
Here is the latest news from the Nursing Council – hot off the press!
- Applicants are no longer required to supply a copy of their birth certificate.
- The Council now requires two professional references and only one character reference.
- All supporting documentation, apart from the verification form and transcript information, MUST be forwarded with the application form and fee.
This information will be available on the Council website shortly.
Any applications received after 1 January 2009 that do not include the application form, fee and relevant documents, will be returned. Please also note that applicants will need to complete an English Language Assessment prior to applying for registration.
Information on IELTS test can be found at the website: http://www.ielts.org/
Information on the OET can be found at the website: http://www.occupationalenglishtest.org/
This should speed up the registration process, as there is lower chance of documentation being lost.
Remember that you have the option to send your application pack and fee to us at
Geneva Health and we will check through your documents.
