Experience Temping

Temping with Geneva Health offers you a wide variety of opportunities in the public and private sectors within New Zealand and our experienced recruitment consultants are able to provide you with short and long-term bureau work, from a few shifts per week to full time.

Nursing

Our well established nursing bureau is contracted to the main public hospitals, private surgical and aged care hospitals, and also mental health facilities in the main cities of Auckland and Wellington.

Also available are ongoing opportunities with centres nationwide offering three month contracts. Plus other exciting roles and special projects in addition to hospital nursing, such as immunisation contracts, advice hotlines, practice nursing and clinical tutoring.

Our service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks a year.

Caregivers/Care Assistants

Our Bureau also provides work for caregivers, care assistants, hospital aids and community support workers. We have a wide range of clients, including eldercare facilities, private surgical hospital, public hospitals, mental health, community and residential care facilities. We offer many training and career advancement opportunities.

Homecare & Community

Geneva Health's specialist division Homecare focuses on the provision of health care and support in the client's own home.

The range of care services provided by Geneva staff includes supporting clients with:

Our clients include a range of 'everyday' people who are experiencing a short-term injury due to an accident, clients who may have had a more serious injury resulting in long-term loss of function, elderly clients requiring additional support during a period of illness or while their existing support networks are unavailable and terminally ill clients. Our Homecare team includes Homecare Assistants who may have no prior healthcare experience, Care Assistants who may have years of previous experience in hospital settings and Registered Nurses.

Homecare is a fantastic place to start for those who are interested in health but do not have a previous qualification or experience. It is a great 'entry level' role into health and many of our previous homecare assistants have gone on to gain further qualification and take on roles of additional responsibility. It is also a good option for those who may have been in health for a number of years and who are looking to step back a little and enjoy the flexibility of part-time homecare hours.

Training

As part of our ongoing commitment to workers in the health industry, Geneva Health offers various free and subsidised training options throughout the year as well as training allowances to pursue individual specialties. Please contact our Training Co-ordinator in the Auckland office to get further information.
